Creative whey protein recipes – Although Whey Protein Powder is almost universally associated with protein shakes, this nutritious supplement provides a tasty and healthy alternative to flour that can be incorporated into a wide variety of classic recipes. Creative Whey Protein Recipes (Breakfast)

  • Pancakes

    Directions

    1. Add protein powder and salt into one bowl, and then mix all remaining ingredients (baking soda, egg whites, coconut milk, coconut oil) in another bowl and then add slowly to dry ingredients and stir until smooth.

    2. Brush bottom of  griddle (or skillet/pan) with coconut oil and set over medium heat.
    3. Stir batter again and then pour ¼ cup of batter into 4-inch circles, allowing plenty of space between each.
    4. Cook until bubbles form on surface and edges are cooked. Flip to cook other side.
    5. Enjoy your pancakes!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and spray a loaf pan.
  2. Mix bananas, coconut milk, protein powder, egg, and vanilla together. sprinkle baking soda and salt around on top of the banana mixture.
  3. Place in the oven for 40 min
  4. In a small dish, mix together the oats and the coconut oil
  5. Remove loaf from oven after 40 min and coat the loaf in the oat/coconut oil mixture.
  6. Place back in the oven for 10-15 minutes (or until golden brown on top), but remember to keep a close eyeball on it!
  7. Remove loaf from oven and enjoy!

apple pie muffin

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Blend all the ingredients together in a bowl (make sure to peel and dice the apple first)
  3. Scoop mixture into muffin liners (make sure they have been sprayed, no oil makes the mixture stick to the paper). Place in the oven and cook for 30 to 35 minutes, or until browned on top.
  4. Enjoy your muffins!

  1. Add cinnamon, sea salt, oats and protein powder into a high speed blender and grind into a flour. Transfer to a bowl.
  2. Add a couple tablespoons of the soaking water to the blender, along with the butter and maple syrup. Blend until a paste is formed.
  3. Mix the paste into the dry ingredients. Stir in the mix-ins.
  4. Press the mixture into a parchment lined glass dish, such as a 6×4 inch shallow Pyrex dish. Refrigerate until firm then cut into bars.
  5.  Enjoy!

  1. Line brownie tray with saran wrap.

  2. In frying pan add coconut butter, coconut milk & vanilla extract. Place on burner on medium heat until bubbling throughout.

  3. Turn burner off.

  4. Add protein powder and Rice Krispies, stir thoroughly and ensure everything is coated

  5. Add into lined container and press together into the container mold. Ensure that the rice Krispies have been spread out and pushed around the edge of the entire container.

  6. Set in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.

  1. Spray brownie tray with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together.
  3. Add all additional ingredients except for water into dry mixture and stir until the mixture becomes a doughy consistency.
  4. Slowly add water as needed until the dough is easy to spread (The water amount varies based on the type of protein used).
  5. Spread the dough evenly into the baking dish and refrigerate for several hours.

Protein Pizza Crust

  1. For the crust, blend (or ‘food process’) the crust ingredients together until you get a thick pancakey texture.
  2. Either cook this on a pan by placing your batter on a nonstick pan further nonsticked with some coconut oil or low-cal spray and spreading the mix around with a spoon or spatula to thin it out.
  3. Once your crust has cooked through, remove it from the pan and add your pizza toppings to it,  place under the grill or oven broiler for 15-20 minutes and enjoy!

  1. Skin potatoes.
  2. Place potatoes in a large pot.
  3. Cover with water and boil for 15 minutes or until you can pierce through them with a fork.
  4. Drain potatoes before adding them back to the pot and mashing them.
    Add butter, milk and protein powder to the potatoes and mix thoroughly.
    *Add Seasoning if desired*
  5. Enjoy!

  2. Combine all ingredients except chips in a blender, and blend until completely smooth.
  3. Stir in the chips, then pour into a greased 8×8 pan.
  4. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips over the top.
  5. Cook the brownies 15-18 minutes, then let cool at least 10 minutes before trying to cut.
  6. Enjoy!
